Introduction:

As a nonprofit organization, we understand the importance of providing access to valuable resources for both our Film and Art Department team members. One essential resource is the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, a powerful set of tools vital for film enthusiasts, content creators, and artists. To ensure that all team members have equal access to these tools while maintaining the integrity of our "Scout's Honor" system, we have created a single post for both departments to request scheduled access to our shared Adobe Suite account. By following this procedure, you are not only helping your fellow team members but also promoting a fair and collaborative environment.

What comes with Adobe Creative Cloud?

Adobe Creative Cloud is a comprehensive suite of creative software applications, including:

  1. Adobe Photoshop: A powerful image editing and manipulation tool.

  2. Adobe Illustrator: A vector graphics editor for creating logos, illustrations, and more.

  3. Adobe InDesign: A desktop publishing software for designing and creating professional layouts.

  4. Adobe Premiere Pro: A leading video editing software for film, TV, and web.

  5. Adobe After Effects: A motion graphics and visual effects software for creating stunning animations.

  6. Adobe Audition: A professional audio workstation for recording, editing, and mixing.

  7. And many more creative applications and services.

Procedure for requesting access to the shared Adobe Suite account:

Step 1: Locate the "Adobe Suite Access" post on Discord and the forums under the "Resources" section. This post is for both Film and Art Departments.

Step 2: Read the post carefully and understand the shared account usage guidelines.

Step 3: To request access, reply to the original "Adobe Suite Access" post, providing a detailed schedule of when you plan to access the account. For example, "I will be using Adobe Creative Cloud for the next three days, starting from [date] around 12 am PST."

Step 4: Wait for a response from a team member or moderator to confirm your scheduled access. Make sure not to use the shared account until you receive confirmation to avoid disrupting other users.

Step 5: Once your access is confirmed, utilize the shared account according to your approved schedule. Remember to log out when you are not actively using the software to allow other users to access it.

Step 6: If you need to extend your access or change your schedule, reply to the original post again with the updated information. Make sure to communicate any changes as soon as possible to avoid inconveniencing other team members.
